Day 15

I panicked as I find my way back to our tent. I was really scared as I might be even lost and do not get my way back on time. The only thing I could think of is to imitate a desert soldier that never give up.

day 14

I was really happy that we are going to another country to live live happily and safe. Far away from the government. Although I am a little home-sick and sad as we are leaving our house our home also our friends...

Day 13

A lot of things had happened. I was really glad when dad saved mom from the government. I do not want that to happen again in my entire life.

day 12

I was really excited and overwhelmed when I saw the football stadium packed with people. After a while, Bibi and I went inside to look for mom and dad. We gasp for air as it was so filled that we could barely move. I was shocked and tears almost drop when I saw mom being tied from the football goal posts... I stood rooted to the ground unable to think what to do...

day 10

Dad saw us playing football. I panicked. I asked dad where was mum. He did not say anything. We will meet mum the next day dad whispered. The only thing dad said was she wanted to take us somewhere safe. We had to go off. I am really sad. I almost burst into tears.

Day 9

The plan is getting extra football practice to become good in it. I sneaked out of the house in the midst of the night to practice so that I wouldn't get imprisoned unless I make lots of nise. I practiced hard. Then, a sudden whisper I heard. I thought it was Mum or Dad but neither. It was my sister. She saw me creeping out of the cellar. Before I could get the ball away from her, she flicks the ball away. i tried to tackle her but she was too good. i told her that we could improve ourselves and form a national team and show the government. That way, the government would change their minset about girls playing football...I am really excited about girls playing football as well as creating a national team...i really think that it would change my country...

day 8

I stared at the television trying to think of a plan so that we do not have to leave our home. As i watched the football match, the commentators said "overboard". There were no boat but a football pitch. I do not know what it means and asked Yusuf 's grandfather. He said that it implies to doing something bold, wild, dangerous and daring. I continued to watch and then suddenly hits me with a plan. A plan that the government could forgive Mum and Dad...I am really very tired but I have to persevere. I really want my family to have a good life...

Day 7

I was so angry that i felt like punching a tank but i can't. Too much of things are happening. A lot of memoreable things we will leave from the house alone. I cannot bear to leave the house.

day 6

I and my sister were waiting for Dad and Mum to come and scold us as we had broken the window of Mr Nasser. They didnt scold us when they came out the bedroom after talking to eachother. It was really strange. They hugged both of us tight. My sister and I thought that they are pleased that Bibi was out to get some exercise but no, Mum and Dad told us that we have to leave our house. I felt an excruciating pain in my heart. The government found out the school my Mum rans in our house. I am really disappointed to the government as well as sad as my parents are thinking of moving to a new house.

Day 5

I was scared for my sister as we quickly creep into the village. My sister rolled her skirt up to hide her identity and become a boy. She tied her hair up and wore my jacket. It was really terrifying, trying to hide and hide from people especially government.

day 4

I heaved a sigh of relief as there were not any bangs after I asked for my soccer ball. I shouted to my sister and Yusof that everything was fine but into my surprised, I saw my sister standing still as she had stepped on a land mine. The mine did not explode as my sister was still on it. I came up with the idea of putting my self on the metal plate of the land mine and letting my sister go. It is safer when my sister is free. I slid my feet onto the metal plating while my sister slid off her feet. She ran with Yusof. She then came running back saying that she cannot leave me. We dropped and screamed. We were schocked as the metal plating did not flipped up and had no bang. I was really happy that everyone of use were safe.

Day 3

"Get down!" I yelled at my sister as i thought we were going to be shot by the tank. I fling myself to the groung and so she did as well slowly. She was so hard headed and threw another rock onto the tank. We stood up again after my sister told me that the tank would shoot us if they want to shoot us. I gained courage and decided to talk to the tank and asked Bibi to go straight home. I thought of my ancestors. The desert warriors. I asked the tank to give my ball back like how desert warriors would do. Direct but straight to the point. No answer at all. I was really terrified . Felt numb and my feet stopped moving.

day 2

I have never shouted so loud in my life. It made me when i screamed at my sister to watch out for any land mines. She is only nine and that was her first time out there. I was relieved after the ball had came to a stop. However, it was stopped by a tank. My feet soften down, shaking in nervousness as i saw the gun barrel of the tank moving. I shouted for my sister, persuading her to run but she insists that she was old enough to take the ball herself. I screamed at the top of my voice again for my sister to run. Instead, she threw rocks onto the tank.
